Planning Monitoring Evaluation
The Planning Division of CLRI’s main function is to undertake R&D planning exercises and technology development and outreach mechanisms for the organization in terms of targets, goals, deliverables, budget and time schedules. The Division also coordinates major programmes funded by external agencies such as the Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Rural Development etc. Management of International programmes which aim at forging R&D alliances between academic institutions of the world involved in leather and allied activities is a major activity. The Division also undertakes analysis of outcome and outputs, input-output correlations, resource management strategies in order to develop generic models for R&D funding.
