CSIR-CLRI in association with Council for Leather Exports supported by the various Leather and Leather Products Trade Bodies and Associations, its CSIR Network Partners, Institutions and Universities for Leather and in co-operation with the Indian Leather Industry will evolve a comprehensive strategy for the development of internationally competitive Leather Sector.

Leather Technology and Environment Design & Innovation HRD LERIG 2012 will enable the Indian Leather Industry prepare for the future challenges in terms of Technology preparedness, growth, competitiveness and increased share in the global trade in the Twelfth Plan period.
